PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an image reading physician to easily sight an abnormal shadow candidate existing in a region corresponding to an attention region in an image acquired by photographing the same region from the other direction when he/she views the attention region (a focus candidate region) from a medical image to improve image reading efficiency and image reading accuracy.SOLUTION: When the attention region (the focus candidate region) is specified from the medical image G1 being a target of the image-reading by an operational part 42, a medical image display device 4 of a medical image display system 100 extracts the region corresponding to a specified attention region from the image photographed from the other direction and displays a mark M1 indicating the abnormal shadow candidate region detected by using a detecting algorithm with higher detection sensitivity than the other region in the extracted region in the image photographed from the other direction which is displayed in a display part 43.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】読影医が医用画像から注目領域(病巣候補領域)を視認した場合に、同一部位を他方向から撮影した他方向画像におけるその注目領域に対応する領域に存在する異常陰影候補を観察しやすくし、読影効率及び読影精度の向上を図る。【解決手段】医用画像表示システム100の医用画像表示装置4によれば、読影対象の医用画像G1から操作部42により注目領域(病巣候補領域)が指定されると、指定された注目領域に対応する領域を他方向画像から抽出し、表示部43に表示された他方向画像の当該抽出された領域に、他の領域よりも検出感度の高い検出アルゴリズムを用いて検出された異常陰影候補領域を示すマークM1を表示させる。【選択図】図4
