PURPOSE: A composition containing a Psoralea corylifolia L. extract or a fraction thereof is provided to suppress NK1 or M3 receptor and to prevent, relieve, or treat diseases or symptom relating to NK1 or M3 receptor. CONSTITUTION: A Psoralea corylifolia L. seed extract suppresses NK1 or M3 receptor. The extract is prepared using alcohol of C1-C4, an alcohol solution of C1-C4, glycerin, butylenes glycol, propylene glycol, methyl acetate, ethyl acetate, acetone, benzene, hexane, diethyl ether, dichloromethane, or a mixture thereof. A method for preparing a fraction of the extract comprises a step of adding 60-100 vol% of alcohol solution of C1-C4 to the extract. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing, relieving, or treating irritable bladder syndrome contains the extract or fraction as an active ingredient.
