FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention claims method of defining blood component concentration, involving application of optic radiation with i monochromatic spectral components onto surface of pulsing medium with i components to be determined, and signal is measured by maximum and minimum optic signal component ratio for each monochromatic component at the moment of medium pulsation. Target result is determined by solving a system of i-1 equations. Thickness of measured object is changed compulsory during measurement, and light flow is measured for each spectral component both at thickness change moments and minimal and maximal pressure moments during pulsation.
