The invention relates to a family of parallel robots meant to be used in ultrasound-guided transperineal biopsy of prostate. According to the invention, the family comprises three robots (1, 81, 161), each of them having two modules (2 and 3, 82 and 83, 162 and 163), mounted on a bedframe (6), each module guiding an ultrasound probe (4, 84 and 164) and the needle of a biopsy gun (5, 85 and 165), respectively, having five mobility degrees which allows the positioning of the ultrasound probe (4, 84 and 164) and the biopsy gun needle (5, 85 and 165) and orientation of the needle about two axes, while eliminating only the unnecessary rotation movement.Invenţia se referă la o familie de roboţi paraleli, pentru realizarea ecoghidată a biopsiei transperineale a prostatei. Familia conform invenţiei este alcătuită din trei roboţi (1, 81 şi 161) având, fiecare, câte două module (2 şi 3, 82 şi 83, 162 şi 163) montate pe un batiu (6), fiecare modul (2 şi 3, 82 şi 83, 162 şi 163) pentru ghidarea unei sonde (4, 84 şi 164) ecografice şi, respectiv, a acului unui pistol (5, 85 şi 165) de biopsie, având cinci grade de mobilitate, permiţând poziţionarea în spaţiu a sondei (4, 84 şi 164) ecografice, respectiv, a acului pistolului (5, 85 şi 165) de biopsie, şi orientarea acestuia în jurul a două axe, suprimând doar mişcarea de rotaţie care nu este necesară.
