The invention relates to an automated medical instrument for biopsy. According to the invention, the instrument consists of three modules, a first module for insertion and retraction of a biopsy needle, a second module for clamping a biopsy gun and a third module for actuating the biopsy gun, the second module being clamped to the first module by means of a support (16) on which some biopsy gun fastening elements (17 and 18) are mounted, where the second module ensures the opening and closing for clamping the biopsy gun by the rotation of a framework consisting of a plurality of elements (19, 20 and 21), the third module being attached to the second module by means of a connecting element (23), the biopsy gun being actuated by moving a mobile element (24) driven by a rotary motor (29) by means of a transmission with two gear wheels (31 and 34) and a belt (35).Invenţia se referă la un instrument medical automatizat pentru biopsie.
