FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to back protection and, in particular, to hinged module device for back protection. Connecting part used to form an elastic hinge link between two retaining elements arranged one above the other and forming part of the modular back protection device is configured to be deformed along the first vertical axis and along the second horizontal axis parallel to the back support plane, in which said retaining elements are located, and with possibility of generating force tending to restore its initial state. Connecting part is made solid from resilient material, such as elastomer. Modular device for back protection, adapted for use by patient, comprises on one side retaining elements arranged in series one under the other and configured to cover the patient's back surface, as well as hinged connecting elements. Each of said hinge connecting elements is made in the form of above-mentioned integral connecting part.
