PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discover a natural product that has elastin production promoting action or action of preventing and improving formation of wrinkle and sagging/decrease of tenseness of skin from highly safe natural products, and to provide an elastin production promoting agent, and an agent for preventing and improving formation of wrinkle and sagging/decrease of tenseness of skin, comprising the natural product as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: The elastin production promoting agent, or the agent for preventing and improving formation of wrinkle and sagging/decrease of tenseness of the invention comprise an extract from the stalk part and/or leaf part of Momordica charantia var. pavel as an active agent.
