To provide a snack for chewing for pet having a coarse surface which functions to improve an oral hygiene of an animal, which has extremely low possibility of getting caught in an air duct or digestive tract of an animal, which can be digested efficiently, and promotes health and happiness of animals.SOLUTION: A snack 10 for chewing for animal has a first main surface side 12, and a second main surface side 14 opposite thereto. The snack for chewing further comprises a plurality of walls on each of the first and second main surface sides extending outside, the walls define a plurality of pockets 16 on the first and second main surface sides. Because of a unique feature of the snack for chewing, the snack for chewing improves a health promotion activity of animals.
