PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood of a reel fixing device that prevents extrusion of adhesives and can improve decorative properties.SOLUTION: A hood of a reel fixing device 10 is capable of fastening a fishing rod mounting leg R1 of a fishing reel R, and also includes an insertion part 21 with the fishing rod mounting leg R1 inserted thereto and an operation knob 22 attached to the insertion part 21. The operation knob 22 includes a cylindrical base 23, a cylindrical cover member 26 attached to an outer circumferential side of the base 23, and a separation regulating part for regulating the cover member 26 from being separated out of the base 23.
