PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify an erroneously detected place of a retina layer boundary that occurs because the retina layer boundary is interrupted at top and bottom edges of an image in retina layer boundary detection from a retina tomographic image.SOLUTION: A layer boundary detection part 131 detects a retina layer boundary from a retina tomographic image. A division position determination part 132 determines a position for dividing the detected retina layer boundary. A layer boundary division part 133 divides the layer boundary detected by the layer boundary detection part 131 at a division position determined by the division position determination part 132.
