PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing Poris cocos (Schw.) Wolf extract for suppressing multidrug resistance is provided to treat cancer patient with anticancer drug resistance. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for suppressing multi-drug resistance contains 0.001-50 wt% of Poris cocos (Schw.) Wolf extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using water low carbon number alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, or a mixture solvent thereof. A pharmaceutical composition and a sitological composition for anticancer aid contain the extract as an active ingredient. The daily dose of the pharmaceutical composition is 0.001-100 mg/kg(body weight).본 발명은 다중약물내성 (multidrug resistance, MDR) 억제능이 매우 뛰어난 복령 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 다중약물내성 억제용 약학적 조성물을 제공한다. 본 발명의 조성물은 항암제에 내성을 나타내는 다중약물 내성 세포에서 보이는 항암제 내성을 극복할 수 있어, 약학적으로 유용한 다중약물내성 억제용 조성물 및 항암보조제로 사용될 수 있다.
