A lure comprising a body with a head section and a tail section. The body comprises a lip extending forwardly and downwardly from the head section. The head section comprises an organ for attaching a fishing line. To provide improved control over the lure while fishing, the lip is adjustably connected to the body of the lure in an orientation chosen from a multitude of orientations. With the lure according to the invention, the fisherman can select the depth of the lure for a given speed with which the lure is moved through the water.
