PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanting machine that makes it easy to put a seedling box in and out of a seedling box mounting member and enables the seedling box to be taken out of the outside of a machine body.SOLUTION: A seedling transplanting machine is mounted with multiple preliminary seedling placing members for placing seedling boxes or seedlings in a support machine frame provided in a traveling vehicle body and multiple movement link members for connecting the multiple preliminary seedling placing members in a freely turning manner, respectively. The seedling transplanting machine is configured in a freely switching manner into an expanded state where the multiple preliminary seedling placing members are arranged in the longitudinal direction and a multilayer state where the multiple preliminary seedling placing members are arranged vertically by the turning of the movement link member.
