PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ankle joint exercise device which enables a user to perform continuous passive motion exercises of an ankle joint automatically and comfortably, has a simple structure, and is inexpensive.SOLUTION: A base part 14 disposed apart from a seat part 12a where a user M is seated is provided. A leg supporting part 16 which is mounted on a base part upper surface 14a, supports an Achilles tendon part of a lower leg from below, and makes a heel part float from the base part upper surface 14a is provided. A swing member 20 having a sole supporting surface 18 in contact with a part on a fingertip side of a sole is provided. A swing shaft 22b which supports the swing member 20 in such a manner that a leg of the user M can swing by using the neighborhood of an ankle as an axis by swinging the swing member 20 relative to the base part 14 is provided. A driving device for supplying power to swing the swing member 20 in a reciprocative manner and a coupling member 27 for fixing a relative position of the seat part 12a with respect to the base part 14 are provided.
