PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ankle joint exercise device that has a simple structure and stably enables good bending exercise of an ankle without making a structure of the device particularly firmly.SOLUTION: An ankle joint exercise device includes a base unit 14 disposed apart from a holding unit 12a, and a leg supporting unit 16 mounted on an upper surface of the base unit 14 and supporting an Achilles tendon portion of the leg. The device includes a rocking member 20 having a sole supporting surface 18 where a portion of a finger-tip side of a sole comes into abutment therewith. The device has a locking unit 34 for making the holding unit 12a lock in a longitudinal one end, and has a first rocking-shaft 36 for turnably supporting the rocking member 20 in the other end side, and further includes a connecting member 32 having a second rocking-shaft 38 in the position near to the first rocking-shaft 36 between the locking unit 34 and the first rocking-shaft 36. A connecting member supporting unit 40 is set up on the upper surface of the base unit 14, and turnably pivots the connecting member 32 with the second rocking-shaft 38.
