PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide treatment equipment and method for vegetable wastes such as pruned branches and cut grass. SOLUTION: This equipment 1 has a screw type compression kneading and pulverizing device A which is adapted the vegetable wastes to compressim kneading and pulverizing by rotating a screw 3 and to discharge the pulverized matters form a top cover 7 having a discharge hole 6 at its front end, a pulverized matter container 3 which stores the pulverized matters formed in this device A, a pulverized matter discharge chamber 46 which is formed at the front of the top cover 7 and a pulverized matter conveyance device B which pneumatically conveys the pulverized matter discharged from the top cover 7 into the pulverized matter container by blasting air into the pulverized matters discharge chamber 46. In the equipment 1 air for conveyance used in the device B is jetted diagonally toward the surface of the top cover 7 in the pulverized matter discharge chamber 46 form a blower 42, by which the pulverized matters is blown off and is pneumatically conveyed to the container 43.
