The present invention refers to a portable training system with a record of position and orientation of the lap instrument, which uses two web cameras located in an orthogonal position and a method for the application thereof, the system and method being based on the processing of images obtained by the chromatic record of the tip of the lap surgical instrument, this being useful for performing the monitoring as well as the record against time in each 2D plane and 3D space of the path performed by the instrument during the training process. These records obtained by the system allow the objective analysis and evaluation to be performed by the laparoscopic surgeon.La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de entrenamiento portátil con registro de posición y orientación de instrumental laparoscópico que implementa dos cámaras web colocadas en posición ortogonal y un método para su aplicación, ambos basados en el procesamiento de imágenes con el registro cromático de la punta del instrumental quirúrgico laparoscópico utilizado, para con ello realizar el seguimiento así como también un registro contra el tiempo en cada plano en 2D y en el espacio 3D de las trayectorias que el instrumental realiza durante un proceso de entrenamiento. Estos registros obtenidos con el sistema permiten el análisis y la evaluación objetiva del médico cirujano laparoscopista a partir de la información de movimiento registrado.
