A method for producing a flavored liquid, comprising: a) providing a gas containing aromatic substances obtained from cocoa or cocoa-based products, and water; b) condensing a gas including aromatic substances and water to form a flavored liquid aqueous phase and gas phase ; and c) applying to the gas phase obtained in b) increased pressure in the presence of an absorbent liquid to form a flavored liquid. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the absorbent liquid present during the pressure increase in step c) comprises all or part of the aqueous liquid phase obtained in step b).
