PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use and reliable system in which even when some components malfunction, other components can work in substitution for the failed components.SOLUTION: In the system, at least one radiographic image reader for transmitting image data obtained by reading a radiographic image, and a plurality of controllers for receiving the transmitted image data and displaying images are arranged on the same network. The one radiographic image reader includes a storage part for holding the image data of the read radiographic image, and a communication part for specifying the controller to be a transmission destination among the plurality of controllers and transmitting the image data of the read radiographic image to the specified controller.
