PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition capable of penetrating into nails to treat infections of nails and to provide a treatment method using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a composition comprising (a) an iodophor selected from povidone-iodine (PVP-I), iodine tincture, Lugol's solution, potassium iodide and sodium iodide and (b) dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO).
