PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the insemination rate for efficient artificial insemination because an artificial insemination uses a valuable sperm with an ovum to artificially inseminate. ! SOLUTION: This artificial insemination method comprises using a culture medium for artificial insemination containing isoliquiritingenin, formononetin or an extract obtained by extracting licorice with ethyl acetate to inseminate a sperm with an ovum. Further, the artificial insemination method comprises using a culture medium for artificial insemination containing isoliquiritingenin, formononetin or an extract obtained by extracting licorice with ethyl acetate to culture a sperm, adding the cultured sperm together with the artificial insemination culture medium to an artificial insemination culture medium containing an ovum cultured therein to inseminate the sperm with the ovum. !
