Provided is a taste-improving agent for tea drinks which contains, as the active ingredient, at least one glyceroglycolipid, preferably monogalactosyldiglyceride or digalactosyldiglyceride. The agent as described above, which is used for enriching full-bodied taste, masking astringency and preventing sedimentation, is particularly efficacious in improving tea drinks containing ground tea leaves. Also provided are a tea drink which contains ground tea leaves and 1.0 μg/ml or more of glyceroglycolipid(s) and has an absorbance at 680 nm of 0.25 or less and a method of producing a tea drink containing glyceroglycolipid(s) which involves astep of grinding tea leaves to give an average particle size of 1 to 100 μm (preferably 1 to 50 μm, more preferably 1 to 20 μm) and then mixing the ground tea leaves with neutral water of pH 5 to 7 (preferably 5.5 to 7, particularly preferably 6 to 7) to thereby allow the elution of the glyceroglycolipid(s) into water.
