PURPOSE: A cultivation method of salicornia herbacea using seawater, and the salicornia herbacea are provided to cultivate salicornia herbacea containing useful minerals with the environment-friendly method. CONSTITUTION: A cultivation method of salicornia herbacea using seawater comprises the following steps: supplying the seawater to salicornia herbacea for the hydroponic cultivation; maintaining the temperature of a cultivation chamber at 20~25deg C. The humidity of the cultivation chamber is 60~70%. The concentration of CO2 inside the cultivation chamber is 300~500ppm. The pH of culture fluid for cultivating the salicornia herbacea is 7~8.
