PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidative hair dye composition that gives a dark color tone and a bluish color tone, suppresses the amount of oxidizing agent used, reduces damage to the hair and yet improves fastness to the dyed hair.SOLUTION: The oxidative hair dye composition includes (A) an oxidation dye, (B) an alkali agent and (C) an oxidizing agent. (A) The oxidation dye contains (a-1) at least one coupler selected from 2,4-diaminophenoxyethanol and its salt and (a-2) at least one coupler selected from 2,6-diaminopyridine and its salt.
