The present invention is an oxidative hair dye composition containing an alkaline agent and an oxidant, which contains (A) a carbonate, (B) an oxidative dye and (C) at least one sugar alcohol selected from the group consisting of sugar alcohols having 4 or more carbon atoms. The sugar alcohol (C) may be alditol. The oxidative dye (B) may contain at least one coupler that is selected from among 2, 4-diaminophenoxyethanol, 5-amino-o-cresol, 2, 6-diaminopyridine, 5-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-2-methylphenol, [alpha]-naphthol and salts of these compounds.本發明係一種氧化染毛劑組成物,係含有鹼劑與氧化劑,並含有(A)碳酸鹽、(B)氧化染料及(C)由碳數為4以上之糖醇之群組中所選擇之至少一種。前述(C)糖醇可為醛醣醇。前述(B)氧化染料可含有從2,4-二胺基苯氧基乙醇、5-胺基鄰甲酚、2,6-二胺基吡啶、5-(2-羥基乙基胺基)-2-甲基苯酚、α-萘酚、以及該等之鹽中選擇之至少一種偶合劑。
