A charging interface (180) for connection with a corresponding charging socket (220) of the electric vehicle (210) is located at a second end of the charging arm (120) opposite to the first end. The charging arm (120) is rotatable with respect to the housing (140) between a stored-position and a use-position. The distance of the second end of the charging arm (120) to the ground (250) of the parking space (200) is smaller in the use-position as in the store-position.
