PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine packaging device which writes information on a recording medium provided in a core tube that is mounted to a roll support part for supporting a medicine packaging paper roll.SOLUTION: A medicine packaging device 1 for packaging a medicine by one dose by using a medicine packaging paper roll 200 comprises: a roll support part 2 to which a core tube 201 of the medicine packaging paper roll 200 is mounted； a print packaging unit 4 for packaging the medicine by one dose by using medicine packaging paper supplied from the medicine packaging paper roll 200 in which the core tube 201 is mounted to the roll support part 2； and a wireless reader-writer 26 for writing information on a core tube IC tag 202 provided in the core tube 201 mounted to the roll support part 2.
