PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a rolled sushi with an aesthetic design, letters and the like in various colors appearing on a surface or a side when the rolled sushi is cut into round slices, the method drastically reducing various restrictions of a situation of one who eats, a place where cooking takes place, and cooking utensils available in the place, and also allowing a fresh rolled sushi to be made easily.SOLUTION: A method is to make a rolled sushi with an aesthetic picture, which is appropriate for an opportunity or a situation for one to eat, appearing on both or either one of a cross-sectional surface appearing when cutting a rolled sushi into round slices and a side wall of the cross-sectional surface, the method satisfying a restriction of food which is imposed on an animal eating the rolled sushi, and incorporating the aesthetic picture into the rolled sushi using edible powder or granulated powder, or both of them, or either a combination of the edible powder or a combination of the edible granulated powder which have colors required to embody the aesthetic picture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、輪切りにされたときに、多様な色彩による美的な絵柄、文字等が表面や側部に表れる巻き寿司の製法に関し、食していただく方の状況と、調理が行われる場所と、その場所で使用可能な調理器具との多様な制約を大幅に軽減でき、しかも新鮮な巻き寿司を簡便に作ることができることを目的とする。【解決手段】輪切りによって現れる断面と前記断面の側壁との双方もしくは何れか一方に、食されるべききっかけまたは状況に適した美的な絵が表れる巻き寿司の製法であって、 前記巻き寿司を食する動物に課されている食べ物の制約を満たし、かつ前記美的な絵の具現化に要する色を有する食物の粉体もしくは顆粒、または前記粉体と前記顆粒との双方あるいは何れか一方の組み合わせとして、前記美的な絵を盛り込む。【選択図】図1
