The present invention relates to a portable X-ray generator. According to the present invention, the portable X-ray generator comprises: a high-voltage generation unit provided inside a high-voltage generation unit case, generating a high-voltage, rectifying the same to a direct current voltage, and supplying the direct current voltage to a device for generating an X-ray； an X-ray tube assembly case formed as a body separate from the high-voltage generation unit case, maintaining the airtightness of an insulating space, emitting heat generated inside thereof to the outside, and coupled to the high-voltage generation unit case to be assembled and disassembled, wherein an inner space of the body is filled with insulating oil or a gas, or an solid insulating body； an X-ray tube assembly provided inside the X-ray tube assembly case and receiving power from the high-voltage generation unit to generate an X-ray； and an X-ray shielding member coupled to the inside and front of the X-ray tube assembly case and allowing the X-ray generated from the X-ray tube assembly to be emitted only through an X-ray emission hole formed in the front thereof and to be prevented from being leaked to other parts. When an X-ray tube of the X-ray tube assembly is replaced, the X-ray shielding member is separated from the X-ray tube assembly case while an insulating structure of the high-voltage generation unit is maintained, and the X-ray tube assembly is disassembled to replace the X-ray tube. Then, the X-ray tube assembly and the X-ray shielding member are reassembled.
