The invention relates to a solanum melongena grafting method, which includes a solanum torvum stock plant and a solanum melongena seeding plant. The major method includes the steps of preparing the plants, cutting and grafting. Plant preparation was carried out as follows selecting the solanum torvum stock plant and the solanum melongena seeding plants respectively, cutting the stem of the solanum torvum stock plant and keeping the stem root portion of the solanum torvum stock plant. Cutting the solanum melongena seeding plant, keeping the stem leaf portion of the solanum melongena seeding plant after cutting and grafting the solanum torvum stock plant and the solanum melongena seeding plant via an inarching method with the selected cross section of the stem root portion of the solanum torvum stock plant and the cross section of the stem leaf portion of the corresponding solanum melongena seeding plant for the stem root portion of the solanum torvum stock plant and the stem leaf portion of the solanum melongena seeding plant. The above was carried out in order to keep a standing status after grafting. Completion of the grafting was carried out by bonding the inarching portion with tape, so that the advantage of disease and insect resistance and healthy solanum melongena plant was achieved via cross seeding.本發明係有關於一種茄子嫁接方法,包含一水茄母株以及一茄子苗株,其主要方法係為準備植株、切斷、嫁接等步驟;其中,藉由準備植株,分别選取水茄母株及茄子苗株,將水茄母株莖部進行切斷步驟,留取水茄母株莖根部,茄子苗株進行切斷步驟,切斷後保留茄子苗株莖葉部,已選取水茄母株莖根部之切斷面,相對應欲與嫁接之茄子苗株莖葉部的切斷面,將水茄母株與茄子苗株利用靠接方式進行嫁接,使其水茄母株莖根部與茄子苗株莖葉部於嫁接後保持一直立狀態,再以膠帶將靠接部位於予以束緊後完成嫁接,藉以雜交優勢達其抵抗病蟲害及建康茄子株者。
