PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester in which a root vegetable previously pulled up from a field and having leaf and stem parts not cut off from a main root part, is extracted with hand operation and pinched between a pair of pulling up and conveying belts of a pulling up and conveying device.SOLUTION: The root vegetable harvester includes a raising device 20 raising up a leaf and stem part of a root vegetable, a plow for digging up soil around the root of the root vegetable, a pulling up and conveying device 40 for pulling up the root vegetable from a field and conveying by pinching the leaf and stem part with a countering part of a pair of conveying belts 41L, 41R, a shoulder arranging device for arranging the shoulder positions of the main root parts of root vegetables, and a leaf and stem cutting device cutting and separating the leaf and stem part from the main root part of the root vegetable, wherein a manual root vegetable supplying path 2 is formed by evacuating the raising device 20 from a position forward of the upstream end of the pair of countering part of the conveying belts 41L, 41R in a condition in which the raising device 20 and the plow are not driven, and the pulling up and conveying device 40, shoulder arranging device and the leaf and stem cutting device are driven.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】予め圃場から引き抜かれ、かつ茎葉部が主根部から切り離されていない根菜を作業者が手作業で引き抜き搬送装置の一対の引き抜き搬送ベルトに挟持させることが可能な根菜収穫機を提供する。【解決手段】根菜収穫機に、根菜の茎葉部を引き起こす引き起こし装置20、根菜周囲の土を掘り起こすプラウ、根菜の茎葉部を一対の引き抜き搬送ベルト41L・41Rの対向部で挟持することにより根菜を圃場から引き抜いて搬送する引き抜き搬送装置40、根菜の主根部の肩の位置を揃える肩揃え装置、および根菜の茎葉部を主根部から切り離す茎葉切断装置を具備し、引き起こし装置20およびプラウが駆動されず引き抜き搬送装置40、肩揃え装置および茎葉切断装置が駆動された状態で引き起こし装置20が一対の引き抜き搬送ベルト41L・41Rの対向部の上流側端部の前方となる位置から退避することにより手動根菜供給経路2が形成される。根菜収穫機。【選択図】図6
