PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein improvement point is needed to ensure efficient foreign-matter separating and/or raw laver-suction quantities, because conventional raw laver foreign-matter separating apparatuses in which rotary plate is lifted through a lifting means disposed therein for adjusting clearance is reasonable, but is not always sufficient for adjusting the bearing (contact degree of the rotary plate) of the rotary plate through contact or separation of the rotary plate with or from a separation casing. SOLUTION: The foreign-matter separation casing-rotary plate bearing device of the raw laver foreign-matter separating portion, in which a clearance is formed with the separation casing in a raw laver mixture tank and a rotary plate disposed above the separation casing, and the clearance is adjusted by lifting or lowering the rotary plate with a lifting means is such that the bearing of the rotary plate is performed, by contact or separation of the rotary plate with or from the separation casing via a rotary shaft, disposed vertically in the raw laver mixture tank which pivotally supports the rotary plate and a bearing-adjusting means disposed in the upper portion of the rotary shaft.
