PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform automatic marking and aggregating of entry contents of correct/wrong answer determinations while saving the labor and time such as an information input regarding teaching materials for education which are used in educational facilities. SOLUTION: A teaching materials processing apparatus comprises: a read means 2 for obtaining image data from teaching materials 20 for education; an additionally written information extraction means 6 for extracting a difference between image data of teaching materials 20 for education having entry columns filled and image data of teaching materials 20 for education having unfilled entry columns; an answer position calculation means 12 for calculating position information of entry columns on the teaching materials for education, from a difference extraction result; a storage means 1 for storing and holding a calculation result; correct/wrong answer determination recognition means 8 to 11 for extracting entry contents of correct/wrong answer determinations written on the teaching materials 20 for education, from image data obtained by the read means 2; and a marking and aggregating means 13 for marking and aggregating the correct/wrong answer determinations on the basis of stored contents of the storage means 1 and extraction results by the correct/wrong answer determination recognition means 8 to 11.
