The invention provides a pourable solid composition comprising water-soluble dietary fiber and calcium lactogluconate, wherein said fiber is selected from the group consisting of partially hydrolyzed guar gum and a soluble dextrin prepared from wheat or maize starch, and wherein said calcium lactogluconate has a calcium content of higher than 10 weight %. The composition may be used as a dietary supplement providing dietary fiber and calcium.
