PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper excellent in fitting to three-dimensional unevenness on the surface of a users body, and capable of effectively preventing leakage of excrement particularly caused by external pressure.SOLUTION: A rod-shaped barrier body 20 rising to the users body side is extended in a width direction in such a way as to overlap with at least an absorber 56 in a range in the width direction in at least one of the upper end of the back side and the upper end of the abdominal side. The barrier body 20 is formed by loading a decompression material 22 in the overlapping part at least with the absorber 56 in the range in the width direction within a package body 21 formed of an elongated cylindrical sheet.
