The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and a dietary supplement including a gooseneck loosestrife (Lysimachia clethroides) extract for the prevention or treatment of inflammatory disorders. The pharmaceutical composition and the dietary supplement includes the gooseneck loosestrife extract capable of suppressing the generation of inflammatory mediators such as NO, INF-β, TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 and iNOS activities as an active ingredient. Accordingly, the present invention can prevent and treat the inflammatory diseases due to the excessive production of nitric oxides in the macrophages in a body without side effects.
