PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastin gel for cell cultivation in which application to a living matter can be performed, self composition making can be performed by a living matter temperature, an elastic property is possessed, and a cell can be embedded and grown.SOLUTION: An elastin gel is characterized in that an isotype elastin extracted from a living matter by hydrolysis, a water-soluble crosslinking agent, a coagulation accelerator and a cell mixed liquid are put in an appropriate cast and left at rest at living matter temperature, only thereby self composition making is performed, a cell is safely embedded, and a structure has an elastic property, thereby both of static and kinetic cell cultures can be performed.
