PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for bathing which requires no large space in retreating a handrail when a bathing person moves to and from the wheelchair.SOLUTION: A moving truck 17 is provided with a removable chair part 18. The chair art 18 is provided with a movable handrail part 34 as a handrail which can be turned outward with respect to the chair part 18. The movable handrail part 34 includes: a side support part 42 extending from a shaft part 33 at the side of the backrest part 26 of the chair part 18 and a front protection cylinder 44 bent and extended to the front opposite to the backrest part. A support part inner cylinder 36 connected to the front protection cylinder 44 is inserted in a support part outer cylinder 35 of the side support part 42 so as to be telescoped and rotated. The support part outer cylinder 35 is provided with a guide groove having a main guide part and first and second locking groove parts. A guide pin provided in the support part inner cylinder 36 is slidably fitted in the guide groove.
