PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher that can smoothly return and transport graded tailings even when changed to any of transport paths of a path for returning through a continuous hole of a threshing side arranged at the end side of a horizontal screw to a threshing chamber and a path for returning through a continuous hole of a grading side arranged at the middle of the horizontal screw to a grading part side.SOLUTION: In a thresher, transport paths for selectively returning tailings to a threshing chamber 19 side and a grading part 17 side are formed a horizontal screw 51 for transporting tailings in the lateral direction and a transport case 52 for covering the circumference of the horizontal screw 51 are arranged in the transport paths a communication hole 61 of a threshing side communicated with the threshing chamber 19 side is formed at the end part of the transport case 52 and a communication hole 62 of a grading side communicated with the grading part 17 side is formed at the middle part of the transport case 52, and the transport paths in the transport case 52 of tailings are switched by a change member 54 for closing the communication hole 62 of the grading side.
