The present invention relates to a medium composition for cryopreservation of a human amniotic fluid-derived stem cell. The medium composition is manufactured by the steps of: preparing a cryopreservation solution deep-freezing AFSCs in the cryopreservation solution obtained from the step above and adding zVAD-fmk in the medium after being thawed and comparing and assessing a cell survival rate and a cell proliferation rate of AFSCs obtained from the step above and an expression level of mRNA of a stem cell marker.
