PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent antibacterial composition or provide an antibacterial method.SOLUTION: The antibacterial composition is characterized by containing 3-iodo-2-propionyl-N-butylcarbamate as the first ingredient and polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride and/or a para-hydroxybenzoate as the second ingredient.
