PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial fungicide in which a polymer having an excellent antibacterial fungicidal property is firmly bonded to an inorganic particle so as to hardly elute or evaporate the polymer, having excellent dispersibility, duration durability of the antibacterial fungicidal property, heat resistance, and antiweatherability, having no degradation of the antibacterial fungicidal property even if being added to a high temperature molten resin, capable of being uniformly dispersed in a resin matrix so as to easily provide a resin molding having the antibacterial fungicidal property, and especially, when being made a silicone composition, capable of exhibiting remarkable effect as an antibacterial fungicidal property silicone sealant.SOLUTION: An antibacterial fungicide is obtained by graft bonding a polymer in which 2-methyl-N-1,3-thiazole-2-acrylamide is made a monomer to an inorganic particle.【解決手段】2-メチル-N-1,3-チアゾール-2-アクリルアミドをモノマーとする重合体を無機粒子にグラフト結合したことを特徴とする抗菌防かび剤。【効果】本発明に係る抗菌防かび剤は、優れた抗菌防かび特性を有する重合体が無機粒子に強固に結合されているので、該重合体が溶出し難く、また気化し難い特徴がある。そのため、本抗菌防かび剤は分散性に優れ、抗菌防かび特性の持続耐久性や耐熱性、耐候性に優れ、高温の溶融樹脂に添加しても抗菌防かび性の劣化がなく、樹脂マトリックス中に均一に分散できるので、抗菌防かび特性を有する樹脂成形品を容易に得ることができる。特に、シリコーン組成物とした時、抗菌防かび性シリコーンシーリング材として顕著な効果が得られる。【選択図】なし
