<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-saving driven communication circuit, and to provide a visual reproduction auxiliary device provided with the same. <;P>;SOLUTION: The communication circuit includes: a transmission circuit provided with a power transmission unit which transmits power as alternating-current signals; and a receiving circuit which has a receiving unit which receives the alternating-current signals and a rectifying means for rectifying the alternating-current signals received by the receiving unit to generate direct current power. In the communication circuit which transmits specified control signals either one-way or bidirectionally, at least either of the transmission circuit or the receiving circuit includes: a high harmonics extraction means for extracting high harmonics of the alternating-current signals, which occur when the alternating-current signals are rectified by the rectifying means; and a modulation means for modulating the extracted high harmonics.
