PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-insoluble particle-containing cosmetic which has stably dispersing water-insoluble particles and is excellent in feeling of use.SOLUTION: The invention provides a water-insoluble particle-containing cosmetic which contains water-insoluble particles, and linear polysaccharides and branched polysaccharides. As the linear polysaccharides, a cellulose derivative and/or pullulan is preferable. As the branched polysaccharides, one or more kinds selected from xanthan gum, locust bean gum, dextran, and amylopectin are preferable. The compounding ratio of the linear polysaccharides and the branched polysaccharides is preferred to be 20:1-55:1.
