A transport appts. comprises a first transport belt (2) supplying prods. (4) on baking trays (3), with a second belt (6) mounted on two drive wheels (7,8) and at an angle to the first. The first drive wheel (7) is placed in such a position on the first belt to transfer prods. to the second. The transfer means consist of a hollow cylinder (9) extending transverse to both belts and provided with suction means during operation. At least one suction unit (11) is placed on the outer jacket of the cylinder and communicates with the interior via a boring. The cylinder is driven and can rotate with both belts.
