PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ear tip marker assembly capable of safely and reliably attaching a marker to a fishing rod.SOLUTION: An ear tip assembly 40 includes: a marker 20 to be attached to an ear tip of a fishing rod and a fitting jig 30 for attaching the marker 20 to the ear tip. The marker 20 is configured in cylindrical geometry having flexibility derived from resin containing a fluorescent agent, and is segmented along a segmentation line which extends in an axial direction at one point in a circumferential direction. The fitting jig 30 has a guide plate 31 and a seal 35. The guide plate 31 is tabular, has a surface 32 and a reverse face 33 on the opposite side of the surface 32, and extends through the segmentation line into and outside the marker 20.
