PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of inhibiting a flexible member arranged to a side joint from displacement or coming-off from the side joint.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 is a panty-type absorbent article has a pair of side joints formed in both end parts of front and rear waist areas in the width direction by joining the front and rear waist areas. The pair of the side joints has a first joint area in which a plurality of joints formed by joining the front and rear girth areas are formed at intervals in the front-back direction, and a second joint area arranged outside the first joint area in the width direction and lower in joint strength than the first joint area.
