PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wear article capable of coming into close contact with a wearer and preventing both side edges of a crotch panel constituting a crotch area from being caught in an inside of the side edges.SOLUTION: A diaper 1 includes front and rear waist panels 20, 30 defining front and rear waist areas 12, 13, a crotch panel 40 defining a crotch area 14, and an absorber 50 arranged in an inside of the crotch panel 40 and elongating in a longitudinal direction Y. The crotch panel 40 includes a base sheet 41, and a pair of leg elasticity sheets 42 fixed at both side edges of the base sheet 41. First joining areas are formed at a vicinity of front and rear edges 40A, 40B of the crotch panel 40, each first joining area elongating in a lateral direction X from the base sheet 41 to the outside of outside edges 42C of the leg elasticity sheets 42, and the crotch panel 40 is joined to the front and rear waist panels 20, 30. Cover sheets 61, 62 that cover the front and rear edges 40A, 40B are bonded via a second joining area to an inner face sheet 43 of the crotch panel 40.
