PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mainly provide novel solid preparations (viable cell preparations) containing an enteric useful bacterium as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: The present invention provides, for example, a solid preparation containing a saccharide powder composition having maltose within the range of 60-98 mass% and an enteric useful bacterium, the solid preparation featuring the content of the saccharide powder composition within the range of 30-95 mass%.
