PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm device by which an object can be easily and quickly fixed at an optional space position.SOLUTION: The arm device 1 for fixing the detachably attached object O at the optional space position has: the first joint mechanism 3 arranged in the base 2 an arm section 4 in which a base end part 41 is jointed by the first joint mechanism 3, and the rotation, the displacement of the angle around an axis and the locking of these movements are carried out by the first joint mechanism 3 and which has an object attaching/detaching means 6 detachably attaching the object O to the front end part 42 and at least one second joint mechanism 5 carrying out the rotation, the displacement of the angle around the axis of the arm part 4 and the locking of these movements between the base end part 41 and the front end part 42.
